Johanna has been an avid horror/Halloween fan as long as she can remember. Her first haunted attraction experience was Spooky House in the San Fernando Valley, and the first theme park Halloween event she attended was Knott’s Scary Farm. Now an owner of Theme Park Adventure, Johanna visits numerous haunts during the Halloween season; in 2014, TPA covered over 30 haunts, mostly here in Southern California. Through Theme Park Adventure, Johanna works in partnership with many of the region’s leading haunted attractions. She is a skilled photographer, capturing thousands of images each Halloween of haunts and their teams, which are viewed by TPA fans around the world.

When not spooking it up around Southern California, Johanna is a professional within the themed entertainment industry at BRC Imagination Arts in Burbank. In her position at BRC, Johanna works with multiple teams on a wide variety of high-profile projects, many of which are currently in development. One of Johanna’s first projects at BRC was Story Garden by AMOREPACIFIC, an uplifting interactive visitor journey that reinvented the idea of a factory tour, which was recently awarded a Themed Entertainment Association Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement.
