As an actor, Rhine’s credits (including over 20 death scenes) are: The Chair, Parasites, Dracula In A Women’s Prison, Aliens VS Titanic, Angel of Darkness, The Orphan Killer 2: Bound By Blood, Bad Ass Bugs, Dracula’s Sorority Sisters, Nazi Dawn, Hells Kitty, Terror Toons 3, Arise of The Snake Woman, Disaster Wars, Strangely in Love, Fast Track, Submission, Room 33, Waiting, Porn Shoot Massacre, Dominque’s Game, Vinnie and Angels, Atomic Blue and others. He portrayed Rod Serling for director Joe Dante’s “Twilight Zone – Tower of Terror” ride at Disney, Orlando Florida (read here). R.S. Rhine has also sold over 100 horror stories to newsstand magazines and won a Bram Stoker Award alongside Clive Barker and Ray Bradbury in the first “Dark Delicacies” anthology. Rhine authored “My Brian Escapes Me“ (Sun Dog Press) which had full bookstore and international distribution. Rhine has worked as a writer for: Heavy Metal, Cracked, National Lampoon, Hustler Funnies, Insidious Tales and others. Rhine’s first solo comic book, “Selected Reading’s From Satan’s Powder Room“ (Asylum Press) quickly sold out and was followed up by a second helping titled “Chicken Soup For Satan,” and then “Satan Gone Wild” (all distributed by Diamond). The success of these “humorr-ific” comic books led to Rhine’s 280 page, color graphic novel “Satan’s 3-Ring Circus of Hell.” Forty-three of the top horror artists in the world (such as William Stout, Tim Vigil, Hilary Barta and Alan M. Clark) contributed to the book, illustrating over forty twisted Rhine tales. The graphic novel won “BEST ANTHOLOGY” at the DIY Awards. Rhine’s animated sick comedy series SICKCOM (http://www.sickcom.com/) was picked up by Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation and included on their anthology. While writing, Rhine freelanced for ten years as a unit publicist for Universal Studios, TriStar/Columbia, Dreamworks and Imagine Entertainment on such features as: The Craft, Mousehunt, Hush, Tremors, Problem Child, Double-Team, Toy Soldiers, amongst others. He’s worked as a top entertainment publicist, book publicist and film advertising copywriter. He was a segment producer for PM magazine and worked for CNN in their early years when Ted Turner had this whacky idea of 24 hours news. Rhine is proud to bring back SID HAIG who is signing for the 3rd time in the Girls and Corpses booth at ScareLA. Also, Ginger Lynn will be in the G&C booth signing her new issue of the magazine.
