Jacob Chase

JACOB CHASE is one of the key minds behind “Big Worm’s Sherwood Scare,” a non-profit haunted house that runs during the Halloween season and raises money for Big Worm’s Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Jacob is a writer/director who’s first feature film “The Four-Faced Liar” premiered at the prestigious Slamdance Film Festival and went on to win the HBO Audience Award for “Best First Feature” at Outfest 2010. Jacob directed the short film “After-School Special” written by Neil LaBute and starring Sarah Paulson and Wes Bentley. ”After-School Special” has been screened at 50+ film festivals including Palm Springs International Shortfest and Hollyshorts where Chase won the “Future Filmmaker Award.” Additionally, the short gained a worldwide theatrically release in a shorts block entitled STARS IN SHORTS, released by Shorts International. Jacob directed staged readings of Martin McDonagh’s “A Behanding in Spokane” (starring Billy Burke and Edi Gathegi) and Terri Minsky’s “Amazing Frogs & Toads” (starring Abigail Spencer, Patrick J. Adams, Katie Aselton, and Josh Pence).
