Johnny Alonso has been in the acting race for years. After graduating from NYU’s Actors Studio, he landed his first audition… a 24-episode recurring contract on the ABC Network daytime soap “ALL MY CHILDREN”. He starred alongside Kelly Ripa, Susan Lucci and Matt Borlenghi. From there, he moved on to guest star on NBC’s EMMY- winning series “HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREETS” and then and 8-episode contract role on the hit WB/CW series “DAWSON’S CREEK”, with Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, ACADEMY AWARD nominee Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson.

His work on “DAWSON’S CREEK” led Alonso to a multi- episode role on the cult classic series “ONE TREE HILL” with Sophia Bush, Chad Michael Murray and Tyler Hilton. Since then, Alonso has guest starred on several hit television shows as well as hosted the EMMY-winning series “NASA 360”, which took him all over the world.

Alonso’s feature film work is very diverse, including RULES OF ENGAGEMENT alongside Samuel L. Jackson, STATESIDE, teaming up with Rachel Leigh Cooke, and the indie thriller smash hit, COFFIN, with Kevin Sorbo and Bruce Davision. You’ll also find Alonso in the upcoming thriller CHRONOLOGY, starring William Baldwin, Danny Trejo and John James. Currently, you can catch him in the COFFIN 2, bringing back his character “Trick”, with Robert Mukes, Laura James, Kipp Tribble and Scott Hamm. Alonso also just wrapped THE KIDNEY next to Vincent Young from TV’s “90210” and Erin O’Brien.

But Alonso hasn’t forgotten his TV roots and you can currently catch him on the FOX Batman origin hit series “GOTHAM”, playing Kazz, The Penguin’s righthand man.
