Dee is the owner and pastry chef of The Cake Countess Custom Cake Studio and The Poisoned Apple Specialty Pie Shop, located in the Santa Clarita Valley. Since the 2nd grade, she has loved Halloween more than her own birthday and thrives from being able to implement a dark twist into anything she makes. A classically trained chef and self-taught sugar artist, she has worked for various prestigious establishments, including Wolfgang Puck Catering and Porto’s Bakery. With over a decade of experience and an insatiable thirst to learn new things, her love of food translates into her motto: “Eating is a necessity. Cooking is an art”.
