Erin Johnson is the head of Obscura Society LA, the real world exploration arm of Atlas Obscura. She leads a team of extraordinary Field Agents who design tours and workshops to share the hidden wonders of Los Angeles. Specializing in LA’s natural phenomena, she develops and delivers nature themed programs on topics such as entomology, ornithology, astronomy, geology, and taxidermy. She also works as a scientific illustrator and is a passionate amateur taxidermist.
