Eryn Krueger Mekash has 29 years of television and film industry experience as a makeup artist and is diversified in beauty, makeup effects and design. Her credits cover a wide range of productions, including department heading The Normal Heart, Eat Pray Love, Whip It!, My Sister’s Keeper, Running With Scissors, and Alpha Dog. She also headed television series Glee, Nip/Tuck, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Everybody Loves Raymond. Eryn started her career in the special makeup effects field, where she worked for Stan Winston and Rick Baker, among others.

She won her first Emmy for The Normal Heart this year and has also received 25 Emmy Nominations for outstanding achievement in makeup, prosthetic and non-prosthetic, as well as 6 nominations from the Makeup Artist and Hairstylist Guild Awards, winning 2 this year. She was chosen as one of Makeup Forever’s top 30 makeup artists for their 30/30 anniversary campaign. Currently, she is the department head for FX’s anthology, American Horror Story, and can still make a nice mold in a pinch.
