Alan McFarland is an electronics engineer and lighting designer for the motion picture and entertainment industry. His credits include Star Trek First Contact, The Fifth Element, Watchmen and Tron Legacy. He has been creating illusions and special effects for The Magic Castle® since 1999.  Currently he lives in Costa Mesa, California with his fat pussycat FurBurger.
