Greetings from the grave, scaries! Welcome to our first installment of our “Tips, Tricks, & Treats'” blog series. With each installment, we’ll give you tips on all things Halloween. We’ll give you the scoop on where to go and what to do in preparation for the next Halloween season.

The next event to look forward to is our very own “Horror Board Game Night” at the Jumpcut cafe in Studio City, CA. The event is scheduled for May 5th, so keep your Cinco de Mayo schedules clear! Check below for more details:

Join us for an evening of horror themed board and card games. Play a few rounds of a variety of new and vintage games of varying skills levels, that will task you with escaping mobs of zombies, surviving a Cthulu invasion, and other terrorizing fun.

A variety of games will be available, but if you have a favorite at home feel free to bring it to share. We’re looking for both novices (virgins!) and experts (gamemasters!) — please let us know in the comments if there’s a horror game you’re hoping to try out, or are familar with any to help lead a game.

Our evening’s host, Jumpcut Cafe, has a full menu of delicious sandwiches and coffee to keep you fed and caffeinated. Bring your appetite, but just be careful not to spill your latte all over the hordes of the undead!
