Javi Salvago was born in Sevilla, Spain in 1981. Following completion of his Bachelor’s degree, he began his career which has spanned over 10 years, where he has worked on important Spanish TV shows and music videos in roles as director, editor, director of photography, as well as visual effects artist. During this time he has worked with many celebrities including Shakira, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith and Tom Jones just to name a few. Most recently he made a music video for the rocker Wednesday 13.

In 2013 he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his second Masters’ degree in film making (his first master’s degree is in 3D animation and sculpting) after obtaining a full scholarship. Salvago’s specialization is in horror and science fiction as he has always enjoyed creating new worlds and creatures in his films. He often acts as the director, writer, director of photography, editor and visual effects artist for his films without big budgets and crews. His other talents include being an illustrator, photographer, tattooist and musician.

Currently, Javi is finishing the editing of his new project, a zombie short film featuring lots of blood and gore.
