Meet George C. Romero : 50 Year Anniversary of Night of the Living Dead

Monster Stage

Meet George C. Romero, son of George Romero, creator of horror cult classic Night of the Living Dead as the franchise celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary! He speaks about his horrific beginnings and darkest future plans.

C. Romero is a film and television producer and the managing partner of Romero Pictures, which he formalized in 2008 after stepping down as president and chief creative officer of Batpack Studios with several films and hundreds of commercial campaigns under his belt. George has written, produced and/or directed 23 films and arranged financing for more than 35 film, television and streaming projects.

George received a B.A. in English Literature from Thiel College and attended the film production program at the Valencia School of Film in Orlando, FL. What sets him apart from other producer/directors is the fact that he spent his early life coming up hard in the film industry working in almost every department on small and large film productions from his father’s The Dark Half to The Burbs and Roadhouse, to name a few.
