Miguel Sagaz in 2017 joined the cast of “American Horror Story: Cult” starring alongside Lena Dunham, Dorothy-Marie Jones and series veteran, Jamie Brewer among others. This participation marked another high note on his already-impressive career, which recently saw him take on a challenging role as drag queen Choriza in the film “Cherry Pop”.
In the series, Miguel plays the role of Bruce, a man in the army who falls victim to sexual abuse in the barracks and is unwillingly discharged due to this sexual preference. Bruce and his partner Maurice (Ryan Alvarez) are then recruited by Valerie Solanas (Lena Dunham) to her cult of followers, Women of SCUM, a cult who harbors tremendous hate for men and whose purpose is to assassinate them all. “Having worked on this episode of AHS allowed me to discover new layers as an actor and as a fan of Lena Dunham, it has been one of the best experiences of my acting career so far. Having Rachel Goldberg as a director truly shaped my performance through her guidance and trust. I felt completely supported by her, by the producers, the writers and the crew who worked tirelessly every day”, said Miguel.
