Amanda Travers has always had a passion for the arts which began with her love for the theatre. Her first taste of the makeup world was at the young age of 13 during a theatre program through her school where the teacher demonstarted how to replicate cuts and bruises. At that moment, she was hooked; teaching herself the tricks of the trade in any way she could.

After 7 years of working as a self taught artist with various cosmetic companies and Halloween haunts, her dream finally came true in 2013 when she was able to attend Cinema Makeup School, where she graduated from the Master Makeup Program and received honors from Leonard Engelman in both his character development and lab techniques fellowships with the school. She has since worked in many facets of the industry.
