Denise M. Chavez is an accomplished professional artist/fx makeup artist with over 15 years experience in various areas of the industry, including film, tv and freelance. She’s a self taught artist, with a background in fine arts and costume/ prop design.

Currently, she leads the extraordinary team of 45 makeup artists at Knott’s Scary Farm.

Denise draws inspiration from the people in her life as well as from her surroundings, focusing on realism and fine detail in her creations. Come watch as she transforms the innocent and unsuspecting, into fantasy filled creatures of the night.
