Hadley Meares is a historical journalist based in Los Angeles, and a regular contributor to Curbed LA. Originally from North Carolina, her focus is on uncovering the stories of site-specific places and fascinating people in history in ways that are both accessible and revelatory. As a tour guide for Atlas Obscura and Cartwheel Art Tours, Hadley curates and leads historical walks and hikes in the greater Los Angeles area.
