While a student audio engineer at California State University of Fresno, Warren Kong was introduced to lighting design in a little twelve-circuit theater in the music department. The discovery would change his life forever. That simple beginning would lead to work as a lighting designer for Disney Entertainment after graduation, and ultimately to the start of his own company, RTP design.

His work with RTP took him all over the world and expanded his scope to included architectural lighting, houses of worship, theatrical lighting, audio and video design and system/show control. His depth of technical experience and leadership ability make him a valuable consultant in the corporate marketplace today.

He has been a technical writer with a monthly column in Event solutions magazine since 2008, and a member of the Lightswitch team since 2009.
