Katie White

Director, "Seven Minutes"

Katie White is a writer and director raised off exit four of the New Jersey Turnpike. White attended the New York Film Academy in Manhattan where she honed her passion for screenwriting and directing. In 2011 she wrote, directed and produced the short film TREADING WATER. The small project was well received and accepted into ten film festivals nationwide. In 2013 White wrote and directed the short film COAT ROOM that is currently marking the rounds in small festivals and recently took home the audience choice award for best short film at the Hollywood & Vine Film Festival. Wanting a platform to showcase her work, White started a production company, Tumblerland Productions, in 2012. Her screenplay YOUR CHILDREN WELL came in the top 15% in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. Her feature screenplay IN PASSING was in Page screenplay festival top 25 Drama scripts of 2016. Her feature debut, CONTAINING CHARLIE, is in development, and is currently a writer’s assistant for the TV Show NCIS on CBS.
